The Everbuild Opti-Mix Mortar Plasticiser is a concentrated air-entraining liquid plasticising admixture. It forms stable air bubbles in mortar mixes, improving workability and giving it a "buttery" consistency. This product helps prevent shrinkage, cracking, crazing, and mild frost damage during the curing process, and provides long-term resistance to freeze/thaw cycles. The Opti-Mix Mortar Plasticiser replaces lime in the mix, reducing the chance of efflorescence (salt formation) and smoothing out variations between separate batches of materials. It is suitable for use in pointing mortars, renders, screeds, and bricklaying mortars. The product has a concentrated formula, with 1 litre equivalent to 25 litres of standard mortar plasticiser.
