The Self‑Locking Automatic Field Gate Latch is a heavy‑duty latch designed for field gates, driveway gates, and farm entrances. It engages automatically when the gate closes, preventing livestock or animals from passing through. The latch is pad‑lockable for added security and is finished galvanised for outdoor durability.

The latch plate measures 180 mm in height, 30 mm in width and 5 mm in thickness. Plate holes are 14 mm thick and spaced 150 mm centre‑to‑centre, with a 12 mm lock hole for pad‑locking. The design accepts a D‑loop on metal gates or a striker plate on wooden gates, allowing use on standard farm gate types.

Screws, breaker bar and other accessories are not supplied. The latch operates with standard M12 coach screws for mounting. It is compatible with both metal and wooden gates and is suitable for permanent outdoor installation where a self‑locking mechanism is required.
