The Sika Instant Nails Tube 290ml is a solvent-free adhesive used for sticking various materials including wood, metal, PVC, most plastics, glass, aluminium, concrete, render, stone, paper, cork, ceramics, plaster/plasterboard, rockwool, PU foam board, Styrofoam, and breeze block. It is suitable for bonding dado rails, architrave, and skirting, as well as fixing wall cladding directly to internal wall surfaces or timber battens.
The adhesive is also used for fixing battens directly onto walls without fastenings, bonding carpet gripper systems to most floors without nails or tacks, bonding stair nosing to concrete or wooden stairs, and securing aluminium or other skin panels to the framework of portable industrial buildings and caravans. It adheres quickly to most common surfaces and has good early grab properties, making it usable in both vertical and horizontal positions.
The Sika Instant Nails Tube 290ml dries white, can adhere to damp surfaces, and allows for water clean-up with no hazardous solvents. It is also overpaintable.
